Warnings about robots upending every workplace are now considered overdone, but the COVID-19 pandemic that took hold in 2020 has undoubtedly accelerated the adoption of AI and automation across many industry sectors.

What are the fundamental differences between automation and AI? To what extent are they both revolutionizing the workplace? Have we seen a rapid adoption of hyperautomation since the outset of the pandemic and where has this been most acute? How can organizations move from hype to substance in integrating AI?
