The annual Research Summit is a premier forum for the research and technology community at Microsoft to engage with the global research community spanning academia, government, non-profits, and Microsoft industry partners. This year, the main event took place over three days and was aired across three time zones (CST, BST, PT).

Event Overview

PAI’s CEO Rebecca Finlay joined a panel titled, “From Privacy Research to policy, regulations, and standards.” Panelists explored how research in privacy technology can inform, impact, and drive privacy policy, regulation, and privacy-related standards, and conversely how emerging policy trends can give rise to new interesting research questions in privacy technology.
