Public Comment: Vendor Engagement Guidance & Transparency Template

Overview

Artificial Intelligence relies heavily on data enrichment workers who work behind the scenes to label, categorize, and annotate datasets. Although this work is crucial to the development of AI technology, it is often overlooked and undervalued.

To make it easier for companies to act on responsible data enrichment practices, Partnership on AI is excited to announce two new resources: Vendor Engagement Guidance and Transparency Template. These resources are intended to help build shared responsibility across the data supply chain and greater accountability for AI companies and vendors shaping working conditions for data enrichment workers. To ensure that these resources have the intended impact, we are conducting a multistakeholder public comment process over the next few months. Our upcoming session will include the following:
