Today, Partnership on AI, a nonprofit community of academic, civil society, and industry organizations addressing the most difficult questions on the future of AI, welcomes three new members to its Board of Directors.
“I am delighted to welcome our newest board members, Christina Colclough, Roslyn Docktor, and Helen King to the PAI Board of Directors. They bring expertise in policy, worker’s rights and responsible tech development in Europe, the UK and US. They contribute to the Board’s leadership in advancing our mission so that AI benefits people and society,” said Jerremy Holland, Chair of the PAI Board of Directors.
The new board directors are:
- Christina J. Colclough, Founder, The Why Not Lab
- Helen King, VP of Responsibility, Google DeepMind
- Roslyn Docktor, Vice-President, Technology and Science Policy, IBM
“The appointment of Roslyn, Christina, and Helen comes at a pivotal moment,” said Rebecca Finlay, CEO. “With new developments in AI agents as well as conversational and generative AI, the deep and diverse expertise of these three leaders will ensure that PAI has the advice and oversight needed to tackle the responsible development, deployment, and use of these systems globally.”
The addition of three new directors comes at the conclusion of service of three of PAI’s Board Directors: Ben Coppin, William Covington, and Francesa Rossi.
“We are incredibly grateful for the guidance of Ben Coppin, William Covington, and Francesca Rossi who have completed their terms of service,” said Holland. “They have contributed immensely to our work. As one of our founding directors, Francesca’s insights and vision have been a fundamental part of shaping PAI’s influence in the world.”
Finlay added, “PAI’s growth and impact over the years would not have been possible without the generous and visionary leadership of our Board of Directors. Thank you to Ben, William and Francesca for their time, passion and expertise. Their volunteer leadership will have a lasting impact as we navigate today’s changing AI landscape.”
